Founded in 20223, Sindhu Coir Cluster is a network of 55+ coir entrepreneurs from Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, dedicated to manufacturing eco-friendly coir products. With over 90% women-led enterprises, the cluster promotes sustainable development, rural employment and skill-based entrepreneurship. Supported by government initiatives, we supply quality coir products while empowering communities and supporting green solutions.

To become a leading model coir cluster in India, empowering rural communities—especially women entrepreneurs—through sustainable manufacturing, innovation, and global market access, while promoting eco-friendly alternatives for a greener future.

Our Mission
- To promote the production and supply of high-quality, eco-friendly coir products for domestic and international markets.
- To empower women and rural entrepreneurs through skill development, training and enterprise support.
- To facilitate access to government schemes from DIC, Coir Board, MSME and Department of Industries for aspiring entrepreneurs.
- To strengthen the coir ecosystem by encouraging collaboration, innovation and value-added product development.
- To generate sustainable employment opportunities and support rural livelihoods.
